JIM HUNTER

CINEMATOGRAPHER

Jim Hunter, Director of Photography, has sucessfully completed three multi-camera features in the past three years . . . each on tight, 25-day or less schedules. He is an enthusiastic, efficient, and creative collaborator with over 20 years experience in theatrical and broadcast film production. His recent credits include the feature films "Wild Seven," starring Robert Forster, Robert Loggia, and Richard Roundtree; "The Unseen," starring Steve Harris, Gale Harold, and Catherine Dent; and "The Etiquette Man," a short which premiered at the Hamptons, received the Dances with Films Audience Award and was a Chrysler Award Finalist.

Hunter has shot for National Geographic, TNT, TBS, The Travel Channel, and live segments for Lifetime and CNBC. He has also served as a hand held operator on live telecasts for TNT and more recently the pilot episode of MTV's sketch comedy show, "Scratch + Burn."
Most notable of his commercial/industrial credits are two film projects for the Mirant Corporation, which he photographed in Europe and Southeast Asia. "Call Waiting," a darkly comic short film broadcast on Showtime and Great Britain's Channel 4 marked Hunter's directorial debut. He has since directed another short in 24p HD, “Epiphany," which enjoyed great success airing on HD/Net and screening at several festivals across the country.
Hunter has also directed broadcast spots for clients such as The Atlanta History Center (Huey Paprocki), The Atlanta Film Festival (Austin Kelley), and The Atlanta Gas Light Company. He is the "go-to" shooter when it comes to providing excellent on-camera communications for the CEO's of several Fortune 100 companies such as Coca- Cola and UPS.
